The Pain of Unquiet Evenings

Restlessness can grip you like a vice during the night. Every murmuration becomes amplified, every shadow takes on an ominous form. We must face/confront/stand against the emptiness/void/terror, and discover/remember/unearth the resilient/unyielding spirit that lies within/deep inside/at our core.

An Heavy Blanket of Insomnia

Insomnia acts as a crushing weight upon your mind and body. You toss and turn, yearning for sleep that just seems out of reach. The hours crawl by, each one an eternity ridden anxieties and frustration. This lingering state of wakefulness becomes a prisoner in your own bed.

Aching for Sweet Oblivion

The grip of oblivion was a siren's call, a searing promise of release. To drown in its depths was to still the incessant cacophony of existence. The world's sharp edges dissolved under the lure of its calm.

To truly desire oblivion was to yearn for a passing respite from the burden of being.
